Our first short film Children of Solace ventures into the tale of an abandoned young lady taken in by the spirit of the lake. She becomes a voice of the rejected, transforming into a pure mother. We wanted to show subtle moments and how nature can affect a story. We hope you enjoy.

About the Koilsdatter collective
What we’re about
Koilsdatter is a collaborative union with American multimedia artist Uni Susort and Norwegian Designer/Photographer Espen Susort. We aim to capture sacred moments through film and other artistic forms. The main themes and stories we are drawn to are those that capture something sacred, something memorable. We are both passionate about filmmaking especially and would love to build a community within the film world. We are based in South West Norway and we’re open to working internationally!
How we started
Koilsdatter began shortly after our meeting through an online design community, shortly after we began to work together on various projects and experimented with different mediums to create ethereal art work. We will continue to base our work around magical moments in life, we hope to hear from you.
Uni Susort
Greetings, I’m an American artist based in Norway that works with multiple programs and art mediums. I love working in Blender 3D programs and collaborating on experimental projects. I have art exhibition experience as well as short film experience. I enjoy new projects and am open for freelance/collaboration, our email will be listed if you have any questions.

Espen Susort
I’m 29 years old from South West of Norway and for the last 6 years I’ve worked professionally as a digital designer and motion designer for a design firm here in Stavanger.
On my days off I do photography and collect and adapt old, rare lenses for modern use. If you’re interested in photography and historical lenses you can visit my personal blog here.
I’ve been doing various projects since I was a kid, and one of the biggest being an experimental art website that became quite popular and now has over 50 million views. I’ve meanwhile decided to keep this website semi anonymous for personal reasons.
